Significant loss of data ProLiant ML350 G5
Hello,
I have many corrupt files on my server.
Most have a weight of 4 KB on disk
Some have lost the security ACL
For many of these files it is not possible to display the properties
for others, although they seem to be physically present on the disk, it is not possible to access to rename, move or delete them.
Many different file formats (doc, dot, pdf, jpg etc. ....) are now corrupt and it is impossible to read
The malfunction happened at once without any warning.
Backups worked well but the files have been saved when they were already corrupt
The problem could it come from the single instance strorage device or other??
Thank you for your help

Re: Significant loss of data ProLiant ML350 G5
What OS were you running?
What type of storage were you using?
