Simply need to check internal temperature - DL360

Hi All,
All I need to do is simply check the internal temp on a DL360.

I can't find any data on the HP System Management Homepage app, and we don't have a central SIM server in our environment.

I only need to check this on ONE server.

I've been browsing the download site for 20 minutes but I can't seem to find the right utility to install.

We build all of our servers from the HP Smart Start CD.

Thanks for any tips,

Andrew

Have you tried RILO/ilo?

I have not tried RILO/ilo, we don't have that setup in our environment right now.

I did try upgrading to the latest version of Systems Management Homepage, but no luck. It doesn't seem to let me drill down. It just reports that all components are normal.

Thanks,
Andrew

Just a note - I found another post that said if SNMP is not installed, all of the data will not be present in the SYstem Management Homepage. I know for a fact that SNMP is disabled for security reasons. That might be it.

Fixed - the fix was to install the latest HP Support pack and make sure the iLO piece was installed. Apparently SMH gets its' data from iLO some how (or at least an iLO component).
