Slow down noisy Fans?
Hello,
is there a posibility to slow down the fans in the Server under Linux? If I run Windows, then the Power Management-Drivers slow down the fan because it mustn?t run that fast.
I couldn?t find anything like that for the 1850r on the Compaq Website. Can you give me a hint?
Thank you in advance.
Greetings

Re: Slow down noisy Fans?
You can install the health and wellness driver from http://www.compaq.com/support/files/server/us/download/14821.html for redhat 7.2. this will take care of spinning down the fans in linux.
