Slow performance with teamed nics

We are using 2 double NICS to connect our servers with our backbone. We're using the CISCO Fast Etherchannel technology but the performance is very slow.

At an average we get 60 - 70 Mbyte/minute.

Is there anyone who uses the same technology, and has solved the problem?

Greetings and a happy holiday,

What type of NICs? Are you using ISL (interswitch linking) as well (not supported)?

Re: Slow performance with teamed nics

We have used mulitiple NIC's on IBM Netfinity servers and experienced slow response with Domain logins. We recently have been directed by our customer to use Compaq DL580 servers with dual-port NIC's for fault-tolerant configs. Also, there is a strong possibility that will will implement this server and NIC on a WIN2K platform. I would be very interested to know if there are any known issues with multiple NIC configurations in an NT/Win2k environment. This will be critical in our OS developement.
