Smart Array 410i logical drive extended but size not updated in RedHat
I've added 2 disks to the Smart Array 410i and extended the logical drive, but I am unable to rescan the
cciss driver to update the drive size in the OS. I've tried a reboot and that doesn't work either.
Please help!

Re: Smart Array 410i logical drive extended but size not updated in RedHat
It's been some time since I've done this, but if I recall you need to create a partition on the free space, then add it into LVM. A quick search I turned up this which oretty much echo's what I recall.
