Smart Array 4200 initialization error cmd=B2h, err=01h

I'm seeing an error on an ancient ML370G1 with a Smart Array 4200.

When the array initializes it's returning [Command Failure (cmd=B2h, err=01h)]

I'm having trouble finding info about what that error might be, if anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Are you getting any POST messages as referenced in here?

No, the POST looks absolutely normal, the array shows that it's initializing and then it abruptly gives me that error message, no other messages appear at any time.
