Smart Array 5i problems

Hello,

I have strange problem with Smart Array 5i controller integrated in Proliant DL380 G3.
When I reboot it, I get a message "controller in lock up state". If I turn it off and turn it on again after 5-10 minutes, it works just fine...

I have tried with ROM upgrades - without any success.
Any ideas?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Smart Array 5i problems

Hi,

Check the cables to see if there are any bent pins. The cache accelerator (located under the riser) can also generate that error. Try reseating the cache accelerator.
ThereтАЩs your problem!!! This thing is set to EVIL!
