Dear All,
I have a ML360g4p Server with windows 2003 server and an array controller with 3*72gig hard drives and a raid 5 which leaves me with a 135 gig logical drive.
I added 2 more 72 gig drives to the array and expanded the array successfully using acu . now I have on raid 5 array with 2*72 gig unassigned space and I want to extend my logical drive but the acu page says that the maximum size for a logical drive is 278 gig .. what should I do?!
Thanks in advance :)

Solution
135 GB + (2 * 72 GB) = 279 GB, which is within +/- 1 of 278 GB, the reported maximum size for your current disk configuration.
I'd assume there is just a rounding error somewhere in calculating the number of gigabytes for display.
I don't see a problem here.
