Smart Array Controller Swap-out
Out current backup software (www.cdp.com, snapback), unfortunately the disaster recovery boot disk does not support the Intergrated Array Controller.
If we swapped the controller for a Smart Array 221 the backup software would work.
How easy (and what is the procedure) to swap a live server from the Intergrated Controller to a Smart Array 221?
Thank you

Re: Smart Array Controller Swap-out
if it were another controller like a 431 or 5300 i would say very easy..simply swap then over..but a 221 is older and would not work ...you would need to backup and restore the data from sratch to the new controller
