Hi,
Just setting up a new DL360 G10. When the server is started it goes through all its checks and then stops at the boot screen and i notice there is no green checkbox next to Smart Array.
I cant provide a screenshot if needed. I trying to get to the point of installing 2016 on it but i cant get any further. I assume i need to have the Smart Array available to be able to RAID the drives etc.. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.. Note - its been about 5 years since i installed and worked on a actual piece of tin so my memory to set these servers up from scratch is very limited.
Solved! Go to Solution.

SolutionOn the same page as you see the tick marks use F10 key for getting into Intelligent Provisioning.
Next select Smart Storage Administrator.
Once in Smart Storage Administrator on the left panel you can see available controllers.
Highlight the controller and go to configure in center panel.
Be sure to mark bootable logical drive once done creating array and logical drive configuration.
Save, exit, reboot and try booting to OS media.
If this still does not help please log a support case with HPE support for further help.
