Hello all
I do know what it take to do RAID level migration.
But. On a P212 zer memory, without SAAP.
One disk only.
Is it possible to add a drive and migrate to RAID 1 (off-line is ok)?
If so How?
Thank You

Re: Smart Array P212 Raid 0 to RAID 1?
No not directly, if you create an mirror set you erase your disk content. Perhaps if you create an image with a drive image tool and restore this image into a newly created Mirror set created with 2 new disks. This way you'll new lose data.

Re: Smart Array P212 Raid 0 to RAID 1?
Hello Andrew and Jimmy
Thanks to both of you :)
I just had to recheck.
The feature that made me wonder is the off-line spillting and recombining of a mirror. That's a feature I newer have tried.
I will try to see if the customer got compatible cache modules in some decommissioned servers.
