Smart Array P212 in a ProLiant DL320 G4 - Which cable?

Hi,

I have purchased a Smart Array P212 to replace the limited on-board controller in a ProLiant DL320 G4. Which cable do I need to attach the new controller to the disk backplane to allow hot-swap etc.?

Thanks in advance,

Stephen.

591475-B21 Mini-SAS to 4 SATA is likely the cable you need. This is the configuration that would go in a DL160, which is a similar form factor. The Mini-SAS is definitely what you need for the card, then look at the plugs on the backplane. if there are 4 SATA internal plugs, then this cable is what you need. It also has a signal cable that interfaces with the backplane, with I believe 9 pins (10 pin block, but the bottom center pin hole is covered)
