Smart Array P400 delte and create array = no data loss?
Hi all,
I have noticed that you can delete a raid 0 (or raid 1 with only one drive) array and then recreated on DL380 with Smart Array P400 with no effect on the data. I mean that after that the data are untouched. Is the procedure safe?

Ordinarily I would assume this is very very dangerous.
If these were SED disks, the data would be crypto erased.

Re: Smart Array P400 delete and create array = no data loss?
I know for sure that it is not working on Smart Array P410i. when you delete a logical drive all data are gone.
but it seems that P400 is different.
