Smart Start 7.40
After accessing the ACU I always get the error massage: "The connection was refused when attempting to contact 127.0.0.1:2381"
NICs are working fine.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks, Flo

Re: Smart Start 7.40
I only inserted and booted the Smart Start CD.
So there can├В┬┤t be any software running yet.
But thanks for the hint...

Re: Smart Start 7.40
What server model have you got?
and is there an OS installed yet?
if so what is it?
Cheers

Re: Smart Start 7.40
it├В┬┤s a DL360 G3 with an 5i RAID-Controller onboard.
The system is brand new, so there never was any OS installed on the machine.
I really don├В┬┤t know what is going wrong there.
The same CD also worked in DL380G4 so it can├В┬┤t be the CD.
Thanks in advance

Re: Smart Start 7.40
the interface is composed of X11, firefox and apache.
1) break X11 with ctrl - alt - backspace
2) wait a bit, hit enter, you are on a Linux console
3)cd /etc/init.d/boot.d
restart the script beginning at the Sxxboot.hardwaredisvovery. On the 8.40 CD its S50boot.hardwaredisvovery
for a in S[5-9]
do
./$a start
done
... et voil├Г
