Re: Smart arrays
Hi, segunf, from your post i gather you want to inquire what built-in Smart Array Controller the ML350p gen8 pre-configured entry model has?
Cause the number you gave: 646675-421 can be used to search the part surfer tool:
http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx
which would basically tell you that the number you gave corresponds to:
HP PROLIANT ML350P GEN8 E5-2609 1P 4GB-R P420I HOT PLUG 6 LFF 460W PS ENTRY SVR
--> this basically already answers your question: it has the p420i controller as built in option.
But you can the go and check the respective quickspecs for your region and the ML350p model. As this would give you additional information:
Storage Controller
HP Smart Array P420i/Zero Memory Controller
meaning that you'd only get the p420i built in (part of the system board) without an additional accelerator module and without the capacitor module.
