SmartArray 5i RAID change 0 to 5

have a DL360G2 with a SmartArray5i controller. At present, there are 2 18G disks configured in a RAID 0r. Is it possible to add one additional drive and have the controller reorganize the RAID0 into a RAID5 without data loss?
Thanks,
Saul Rdz

Saul:

Errr, I hope you mean to change it to RAID 1...

At any rate, you will have to do a backup and restore of your system if you striped together both disks into one RAID 0.

Step 1: Backup your system
Step 2: Delete your existing RAID 0 (using the ACU)
Step 3: Build a new RAID 1
Step 4: Restore your server from tape (or whatever you used to back it up)
Step 5: Begin breathing again...

Enjoy!

Sorry Saul:

I should have stated that the DL360 does not have media bays for 3 drives.
