SmartStart CD for Windows 2008 R2
Be aware that the descriptions and links are messed up on the HP website for SmartStart 8.30 if you are installing Windows 2008 R2 (which is x64). The search tool for "SmartStart 8.30" returns a bad link to download the x64 version of 8.30. If you search for software for DL380G6 and Windows 2008 R2 you get a link to the 32-bit version of SmartStart (the description for 32-bit says that it is for Windows 2008 R2 but it is not). Pretent that you are installing Windows 2008 x64 (not R2) and it will direct you to SmartStart 8.30 x64 which has the correct code for Windows 2008 R2 even though the description for this CD doesn't mention R2. I'm sure HP will straighten this mess out and this post will be closed soon. I've been reporting errors to HP since 1976 when I got my first RTE-III system!
