SmartStart Hangs ProLiant DL360 G3

This server was build OK via altiris, but alas someone lost the image.

I've tried building it with SmartStart 6.10,6.30 and 6.40, but it hangs at exactly the same point. (after all the dots then the screen goes white with the HP invent - SmartStart Logo and that's it) i.e. no menu.

It has the latest BIOS, 5i Controller firmware and RIlo firmware.
it also only has 1024Mb of ram.

Has anyone come across this >

I had the same issue. The only thing I did was to change the SmartStart CD.
In your case, maybe the CD-ROM is out ?
