SmartStart Hangs

I have a Proliant 3000 which hangs when booting with the smartstart CD. I get the error

Unable to find any AIC-7899
ASPICPQ.SYS installation failed.

I have tried several controllers plus several different versions of smartstart (4.8-6.0). Same error everytime.

Please help !!!!

Do a system erase from the SmartStart CD and rerun the SmartStart installation from the beginning.
