SmartStart Problem
I'm trying to install Linux on my spare Prosignia server. I'm installing Smartstart 4.70 to set up the RAID but when I've completed the initial hardware config section I get a message at the end saying the server is in maintenance mode and I should remove the jumper to put it into normal mode. I've had a look at the system board and I can see the jumper switches but which one is SmartStart referring to?.
I've looked at the docs available on the compaq website but none of these refer to a maintenance mode jumper.
thanks for any help/advise

Re: SmartStart Problem
The maintenance switch can be found on the riser board. It will be identified as SW2 and it is a bank of 4 dip switches. Switch #4 is the maintenance and must be turned off to run normally. If you have any other questions/concerns fell free to call at 1-800-ok-compaq.
