SmartStart Scripting Tools 1.7 with Conrep 1.72 32 bits
Hello Guy's !
I must deactivate HyperThreading on all my servers (800). On all Windows 2003 32 bits I run conrep tools with XML and DAT configured File in an batch file. The command is conrep.exe -l -fconrep.ini. After the reboot, the Hyperthreading is Deactivated.
I repeat this operation with conrep 64bits. The tools does not make error on the screen but, after the reboot the Hyperthreading is always activated.
In EventViewer System I have a error EventID 7000 Source Service Control Manager : The HP SmartStart Scripting ToolKit I/O Driver service failed to start due to the following error : The system cannot find the file specified.
Who as an idea ?

Re: SmartStart Scripting Tools 1.7 with Conrep 1.72 32 bits
same here...
conrep.exe v 1.72 and conrep.xml dated 3.19.2007
conrep -s -fDL380G5.xml -xconrep.xml returns:
This entry (Diskette_Boot) needs the Toolkit I/O driver to be loaeded to be supported.
Same for (Numlock) (POST_Speed_Up) and 8 others.
I am in 64-bit WinPE 2.0 environment with Windows 2008 PSP installed.
