SmartUPS Charging Hours for Server

We buy our APC Smart-UPS 1500VA for our server right now. All i want to ask is how many hours for the charging of our new UPS on it's first use before connecting to the server?

The APC Smart-UPS 1500VA manual says 3 hours is the typical recharge time.

If you already have an old UPS feeding your server, you might wait for that time. But even a partially-charged UPS is better than no UPS at all: the APC manual says you can start using the UPS immediately, you just cannot expect full on-battery run time until the UPS has been plugged in for 3 hours.

1500VA 3-6 hours as long as the server is not drawing over 50%. Install the software and check the load. 1500VA might not have the battery strength to hold up a Proliant server. I usually go with 3000VA or larger.
