Smartstart 6.0
Using the new Smartstart 6.0 I expirience several problems.
On proliant 1600 and 2500 it hangs during startup. Applying the SSD I get the new webbased ACU - great I thought at first, but it is not an easy to use tool and you miss the status indicator very much. Furtunatly the old ACU can still be activated, showing you the progress of the Array expansion. At the end I would just like to remind everyone to upgrade firmware on BIOS, SMART controller and DISKS.

Re: Smartstart 6.0
Dear Finn,
FYI
For the older Servers, (1600, 2500, 5000, etc.) you cannot use smart Start 6.0 to boot off of. This is due the SS 6.0 will only work with the RBSU of the newer servers. Any previous version of Smart Start will work fine with these older Servers.
