Smartstart install of MSDN Win 2k

Building an MSDN Windows 2000 server using the Smartstart launch fails when it can not find Windows 2000 server at the "usual" place on the CD.
Is it possible to edit the process to go to the right place. If not do you have a recommended manual install process fro MSDN.

I am having the same problem, I cannot belive that after 2 years no one is able to answer this question. and even more unbelivable is that no-one from compaq or hp has even bothered to respond
