Smartstart not finding array
We are loading Smartstart 7.4 onto our brand new ML350 G4 tower and it is not finding the onboard array controller. - No array controllers detected. Although when booting the bios see's all the drives and the array.
Any assistance would be great.
Array: 64-bit 133mhz - non intelligent - dual channel ultra 320 host bus adapter

If no-one saw you break it, deny all knowledge!

Re: Smartstart not finding array
>>>and it is not finding the onboard array controller.
SmartStart looking for SmartArray controller and ML servers don't have onboard SmartArray controller.
Furthermore, ML350 G4 in basic configuration doesn't have any SmartArray controller (Smart Array 641 Controller included only in ML350 G4 Array Models)
>>dual channel ultra 320 host bus adapter
it is SCSI controller without hardware RAID possibility.
