Solaris install crashes

Hi
Installing solaris 8 on a proliant 5500 - install on NT works fine, but when installing sol 8, followin the instructions supplied by customer services, the install crashes. It also appears to be running very slowly. Any ideas?

Take a look at the info located at http://www.geocities.com/rlcomp_1999/solaris/index.html - there's a step by step guide to install.
