I recently found a P400 controller in the back of a cupboard and would like to use it in an ML110 G5, with a pair of SATA disks. The connectors on the P400 are too big for a standard SATA cable (I'm guessing they're SAS connectors?).
Is there an adapter or cable I need to buy to allow the P400 to work with standard SATA disks?
Several resellers list this item "452130-B21 - SAS/SATA 4x1LN Port Cable Kit", but none have a picture of the cable, so it's impossible to say if it's the right thing.
Any ideas anyone?
TIA,
S.

Solutionaccording quickspecs you need this cable
HP SAS/SATA 4-Port Cable
NOTE: The purchase of a SAS Storage Controller requires the purchase of HP SAS/SATA 4-Port Cable 430479-B21
NOTE: SAS Storage Controllers will run both SATA and SAS drives.
