Re: Stop C000021a

Hello Andy,
Install the same service pack which was on the backup before restoring. Suppose you have backup of Windows NT 4.0 with service pack 6. Install service pack 6 on your system before restoring the backup.
If still a problem then follow Q101229 from the following link:

Re: Stop C000021a

Sunil, Thanks very much it did the trick. On one of PL3000 we are experiencing Event ID 270 & 267 as being reported by CIM foundation agents. Any thoughts on that would be much appreciated.

Re: Stop C000021a

Hello Andy,
If SNMP security setting " Accept SNMP Packets From These Hosts" is enabled and local host address 127.0.0.1 is not added. when sever is rebooted and NT 4.0 is up and running . NT Event ID 270 & 267 (yellow) will appear in System Event Log.
So far it has been found that the problem appears on CIM 4.70 & 4.80. it may appear in earlier version of CIM agent.

Solution: Add local host address 127.0.0.1 to the list of host IP addresses indicated in the above option. Event ID will then disappear.

All the Best,
