Strange Java Console errors using virtual media

iLO 3 Firmware: 1.10 Jul 26 2010

When trying to mount an iso file using the Java Integrated Remote Console, I get two successive errors in dialogue boxes.

Error retrieving new key

then

Invalid Login.


The second error confuses me, as I am logging in as a user with administrator rights.

These errors occur when using IE7 on XP and Firefox on Solaris 10x86.

Any ideas?

Did you configure ILO3 properly? Try resetting it. The key could be corrupted.

same errors here on brand new ProLiant DL380 G7 with iLO Firmware Version 1.25 May 26 2011

after re-entering again the same ilo3 license key and resetting again the ilo ... now seems to work

In iLO3 version 1.26 we solved an issue where the virtual media thread could randomly crash after mounting a virtual drive. Rebooting iLO3 was the only workaround.
