Thanks for the replies. I am seeing the lights on as well as getting the message from the The Integrated Management Log Viewer (cpqiml.nlm). As for the drive cage, only the original six drive cage is installed.

Sorry for not being more specific regarding the lights. There are three lights on each drive...a green cylinder shaped light which is lit, a red cylinder shaped light with an X through it which is also lit, and a green arrow light that lights only during apparent drive activity.

I recommend calling warranty support at 1-800-652-6672 with the serial number of the server for hardware replacement.

If I remember right does'nt this means degraded harddrive??

Try patching the drives with the M&P patch..
