Subject: Proliant DL 380 G5_ vs_Solaris10
Hello.
I have a problems with installing
SOL_10_106_X86 on Proliant DL 380 G5.
According to
http://h71028.www7.hp.com/enterprise/cache/492635-0-0-0-121.html
I do
"kernel ... -B install-media=cdrom,pci-reprog=off",
I recived a notice about disabling of Reprogramming
but trouble-"No disks found" not solved.
Have you any ideas?

Hi,
If you can see the drives when you boot from Smartstart and start ACU, then it seems like a driver issue.
not sure but did you try :
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/27361.html
- contains the Solaris (x86) 10 Driver for HP Third Generation Smart Array Controllers
Regards,
Pac

Re: Subject: Proliant DL 380 G5_ vs_Solaris10
Thanks. This link allow me to move a step forward.
I create a cd with driver, update array-driver during installation.
But just now I have the next problem...
After 1-CD installation is stopped.
It is loaded from HDD (I see new colored GRUB) but can`t continue loading (a system restarted, failmode shows "no disks found").
I replay this situation several times with same result.... :O(
