Supported CPU Upgrade for ML110 G2

Hi Gents,

We would like to upgrade the CPU of our ML110 G2 servers, actually they are running with a 3.2Ghz processor.
One of my colleague tried to replace the original processor by a Pentium 4 D840. After replacing the processor, the screen stay black, no video signal, no bip nothing...

Could you please tell me which processors are supported into the ML110 G2 ?

The Intel 3.40 GHz processor listed as supported - part number 383869-L21.
But I think you will not have any significant performance improvement (if at all) if you replace 3.2 Ghz CPU to 3.4 Ghz CPU.
Nevertheless, if you decide to do CPU upgrade you must order part number 383869-L21
