Survey files

I am new to this enviroment Linux. Can someone please advise me hot to retrieve the survey files/report from the server?? I already downloaded and installed it but when I try to locate it to send report to HP I just cannot find it. Please help.

You can use "man survey" to get the full details on the command line, but "survey -t" should echo a full report to STDOUT and you can redirect to a file for emailing.

"man" calls for the Linux manual pages. At $ or #, simply type

man [topic you want to view manual page for]

as in

man ls
man survey
man more

Thanks David I used the man survey of course after I opened a terminal window and read that the survey file can be found in the var folder then the compaq folder. Thanks again
