Swaping RAID-1 disks to new server

I have two identical DL360 servers. I want to take the two RAID-1 9.1 GB disks and put them in the other server. If the 2nd server had it's array controller setup for two RAID-1 9.1 GB discs would this just be plug and play so to speak? I don't want to loose any data on the two good disks. thanks.

If your servers have a Smart Array Controller in them, you should be able to move the drives from one to the other easily without any data loss.

The Array configuration is stored on the Hard Drive so that even if you were to put the drives into a DL380, the controller would recognize the configuration and boot up, or at least try to boot up.

Whatever the array thinks that the drives are.. it does not care. The configuration on the drives supersedes the config on the controller.
