Swapping Disks on a bl20p g2

We recently pulled the hardrives out of a bl20p g2 and put them into another bl20p g2
and we are getting an error when try to boot "Attempt boot from hard drive. Error loading operating system." We tried this on two different bl20p g2's and were unable to get them to work. We also pulled the mirrored drive out to have it boot to the primary disk only and that did not work. Vice Versa with the mirrored drive. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Beth:

What is the Exact Error message you are getting when trying to load the o/s.

The OS is already loaded, the disks are just changing location. Server has been built for a year now. We just wanted to take the drives only and not the whole blade.

Hi,

Are you sure the disks have been mirrored and not striped (RAID-1 not RAID-0) ?

Cheers,

Re: Swapping Disks on a bl20p g2

The disks are mirrored. Also when we put in the new disks, we weren't prompted at all during the array config that there were new disks. Usually what happens is that it says it found new disks and click F2 to continue.
