I am in a pinch. I have a network consisting of 6 DL360 G3 servers, and I need to create an _exact_ copy. My problem is that I now have 6 DL360 G4 servers at my disposal.
Full of hope I tried to move one of two discs from my G3 to one of the G4's. I come as far as seeing the windows server 2003 logotype loading, but it disappears after 1 second and the server crashes.
I know I should have gotten G3's for my copy-network, but I am now stuck with the G4's. Is there any possibility that this could be done?

Solution
also can be done manually
1. Load the latest RAID driver (5.6x.x.xx at writing) on the source server (DL380 G3 with 5i and 2003)
2. Import the attached registry file
3. Shutdown the server and move a disk or disks to a DL380 G4.
6. Boot & You're all done!
The registry file primes the server registry with the plug and play ID of the 6i controller.
