Sysprep of DL360 G3 to a DL360 G4

Attempting a sysprep from an HP Proliant DL360 G3 to a DL360 G4. In preparation I manually force the SCSI array driver to a Smart Array 6i, tell the server not to reboot. Then run sysprep -pnp -reboot. Upon putting the image onto the G4, sysprep hangs with the progress bar about 1/4 of the way. Any advice on how to continue?

I have also recently tried to do this and was not able to. We looked into this and tested various sysprep commands. We ended up re-building the server. Sorry it is not good news.

I have attached a document is used to test further that I found, you may see something I didn't

Hi,
I had to make a couple of changes.
Fisrt of all, add the registry key to support 6i. I found it at this forum and include the zip file.
Besides of it, I did add support to the new Intel chipset support. The package is available as cp004823.exe
This image boots now with both generations.

I guess I should mention this is being attempted with Windows 2000 server with the latest windows updates and the 7.20 support pack.
