System Clock

If I was to replace the Peripheral Board would this reset the system time & date to system defaults?

The Peripheral Board holds your system bios configuration which is stored in NVRAM Cache that is located on the board. You must run Compaq System Configuration Utility to reconfigurere the server bios settings. This configuration does not affect the Array Configuration settings. You will be prompted to specify the system time & date and any additional manual settings that you specified in the bios would have to be addressed again. (ex: changing IrQ's's etc). differently than the bios configured the boards IRQ's.
