System Management ASR Timeout Configure
Hi All
I have a threshold set of 80 degrees c for the temperature of my CPU but the timeout is 10 minutes.
Beause I think 10 minutes would be too long to wait if the temperature is at 80c, can someone direct me on how to configure the timeout?
THanks
Dave

Re: System Management ASR Timeout Configure
Hi Dave,
The ASR timeout can be either set in the machines BIOS or via the HP Systems Management / HP SIM. Hope that's what you were after.

Re: System Management ASR Timeout Configure
Hi - thanks for the reply! I thought I could amend the timeout in the System Management Console, but I can't see where to? I can disable and enable the ASR and that's it!
Does this mean I'll need to reboot and do via the BIOS?

Re: System Management ASR Timeout Configure
Hi Dave, It does look that way unfortunately. Unless the feature has been incorporated into SMH v3.0.2.77 in PSP v8.30. It looks like the BIOS is the only way.
