System Management Threshold cant be set

I have a problem where in system management i can not set the thresholds for any processors, disk space etc.

Next to the Set Thresholds it states that the user does not have the correct access to do so.
I am logging in as the administrator, from the server itself and have rebuilt the server twice, wit the same effect. This is on v. 6.20. SO far the machine is not on a domain, and i logging on as the local admin.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

TIA

Re: System Management Threshold cant be set

When you go to the settings for SNMP and select the security tab, what rights do you have set for the community string? I would recommend making sure this is set at read/write.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

You might also need to enable SNMP Sets in the Compaq Management Agents control panel applet.
