System overheating (Zone 4, CPU location)
Dear All
I have some DL380G4 with high performance( 2 CPU, 8 fan ....). These days, one error on IML log (system overheating, zone 4, CPU location)and system shutdown. I check the system environment on SMH, the temperature is some high, 56.C for Sensor4, 40.C for CPU1 &CPU2.
The problem I wonder is that:
1. I find 3 or 4 CPU sensor record on SMH, Why some DL380G4 with 3 sensors working, some are 4 sensors?
2. What zone does Sensor4 or sensor3 locate and control? (does sensor4 match the zone4?) We need this information to diagnose the problem? Is there someone meet the problem?
H/W, S/W information :
DL380G4 with P51 system rom
2 Gb RAM & 2 HDD/WU320/15K
O.S: Windows server 2003 with SP1, ENG
