TFT7600

I have a new TFT7600 which I just installed in a rack with a new Cluster of 380's. We have an 8 port KVM switch which came with the TFT. We also got the CAT 5 converters that connect the kvm to the servers. We powered up the server and the KVM switch and the TFT but don't seem to be getting any signal to the monitor. The monitor just displays a small text box with the word FREE in it. I have used the same setup in the past but not the CAT5 variety and it worked just fine out of the box. What could be the problem?
