Hi Group.
Question,
If I will enable TPM module in any particular DL 360 G9 server can I use in any other machine or it is assigned to the hardware somehow.
If I will remove the TPM module in the machine where it has been enabled I understand I will loose access to the data encrypted by the key?
Can I use the encryption keys on one machine once I do not needed can I disable the TPM module and use it in different server?
Thanks,
Piotr

SolutionThe TPM keeps bundled to the server once physically installed.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: TPM module
Hi Torsten,
Even if it has not beed enabled?
For example I have a server with TPM module disabled with the OS on it. Customer decided that the current system on which it has got installed TPM do not require encryptin but the new hardware which has not got TPM module would need extra security.
Two servers are the same models.
There will be any problem if I will move TPM modle from one physical server to the other in this scenario?
Regards,
Piotr
