TRANSFER OF WARRANTY OUTSIDE OF COUNTRY

Suppose that i am buying a Proliant server, and I am looking into deploying them to a diff country, I was informed by one the vendors that there is thing called transfer of warranty where the service ctr from a particualr country will liaise with the base country pertaining to this.
I'd love to find some write-up/url on this..but it's really tiring to surf the HP website with so many of them that leads to my question. Frustrating!
