Teamed NICs in promiscuous mode

Hi - is it possible to run 2 nics teamed in a Load Balanced/Fast EtherChannel configuration so they appear as one NIC in promiscuous mode (ie no IP stack)?
I am trying to set up a network IDS sensor that will combine the input of both nics.
