Teamed NICs need to "repair" run to work
Hi there,
We have the two onboard NC371i nics on a DL580G4 Teamed.
They are set to automatic team settings, and they negotiate a 802.3ad team successfully.
Soemtimes, after a reboot, although the team sets up, and all links start, the server cannot be reached until a "repair" is run from within network connections.
ipconfig displays expected info, but can;t ping the server or out until the repair is done.
Running Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise.
NICS are running drivers 2.8.13.0
Teaming software 8.40
Regards,
Andrew

Re: Teamed NICs need to "repair" run to work
Hi Andrew,
1. Dissolve the team.
2. Uninstall the NICs from the Device Manager.
3. Reset TCP/IP.
4. Scan for New Hardware Devices in Device Manager.(This will reinstall NICs)
5. Recreate the Team.
Check if this helps.

Re: Teamed NICs need to "repair" run to work
Appears to have self resolved. Was not willing to do the reinstall at this stage, but will keep in mind if issue reoccurs.
