Teaming issues on DL 360 G4p - Rx Failed
We're having trouble with teaming on both of our DL360G4p servers. When we turn teaming off and disable one of the NIC cards everything works ok but when we try to team them at 1000Mbps one of the NIC cards drops and under information it says "Rx Failed". It looks like for some reason or other the receive path is failing. We tried updating to the latest firmware and drivers but that didn't help. It seems like everything was working fine up until a few days ago. Maybe the ProCurve switch is bad.

Re: Teaming issues on DL 360 G4p - Rx Failed
That message means that one or more of the NICs in the team is not receiving any frames - including Teaming heartbeat frames.
Check to make sure the switch ports for all NICs in the team are configured for the same VLANs.
If the problem persists after checking the switch ports, swap the network cables for the two NICs to see if the problem follows the cable.
Reply with the results and we'll go from there.
Regards,
-sean

Re: Teaming issues on DL 360 G4p - Rx Failed
Usually means a port mismatch, or a bad cable.
