Teaming on DL360
HI
I have a few DL 360's. The Teaming seems to be corrupt.
I think the way it is supposed to be that when TEAM is created the team should burn the MAC address of the Primary NIC card.
but for me the teamed MAC is different then the Primary MAC.
Question : Any Idea what would have caused this?
I have already solved this issue by updating the verison of teaming software and driver of Nic's.
But I want to know what would caused this... Please help
Thanks.

Re: Teaming on DL360
Thanks I did that already. The question is why it could have happened that the MAC were different.

Re: Teaming on DL360
Rahul,
No 2 MACs can be identical.
Teaming is purely virtual and aims to provide load balancing, fault tolerance or a combination.
Differences in MACs are handled or masked by the teaming software.
