Teaming on DL380G2 causes strange VMware behaviour

I have teamed NICs on Windows Server 2008 host. VMware Server is installed and the bridged adapter is pointed to the teamed NIC. Things work well for a while, then the virtual servers disappear, come back, go again etc. So does the host DL380G2 - no errors or warning in any logs anywhere, either on the host or the virtual servers. Looking for some advice please.

What type of teaming do you have set up? Are the NICs connect to the same switch, or different switches?

See the NIC Teaming whitepaper for more information on how to set it up for your environment.

The teaming followed the whitepaper suggestions, load balancing, connected to an HP2524 switch, no VLANS.
