Temperature Sensors
We are receiving an alert on an 1850 with locale 4. CIM actually says CPU, so where exactly is the heat sensors? I can find no documentation of Heat sensors anywhere and searching Compaq's site does not return very many "good" articles. Any help on locating these would be greatly appreciated.
My next question is sense this is a general forum, why is a serial number really required?

Re: Temperature Sensors
The sensors are individually calibrated based on the amount of airflow past them and their proximity to the heat source. Knowing the temperature at each sensor is not a useful datum; it is not indicative of ambient temperature and only is valuable in relation to the threshold.
